Support
Gerry is a voice-first health record for people caring for someone with a complex condition — or tracking their own. You talk about the day; it turns that into something a clinician can read in the eleven minutes they have.
Getting help
Write to support@getgerry.app. A person reads it. If something is broken, saying what you were doing and roughly when helps more than anything else.
In an emergency
Gerry is not for emergencies. If someone is in danger, call your local emergency number. Gerry keeps an emergency card — conditions, current medications, allergies, care team — that you can show to whoever arrives.
What Gerry does and does not do
Gerry reports what was observed. It never says what those observations mean. It does not diagnose, does not predict, does not triage, and does not calculate doses. Ask it what something means and it will say so, and offer to turn the question into one for your next appointment — which is the useful version of that answer.
Every number in a summary is counted from what you recorded. Nothing is estimated, and nothing is filled in on your behalf.
Common questions
How do I record a day?
Hold the microphone on the Record screen and talk for as long as you need — a rambling four-minute account is what this is built for, not an inconvenience. Gerry writes it down, pulls out what it heard, and shows you each piece to confirm or fix. Nothing is saved to the record until you say so.
Can I type instead?
Yes. There is a Type button beside the microphone, and an Upload button for notes you have already written — a document, a PDF, or a photo of a page.
How do I add somebody else to track?
Settings → Your care group → Add.
How do I let a family member help?
Open that person's card in Settings, tap Caregivers, then invite by email. They see only the people you choose. Caregivers can record days and change what is being watched for; they cannot invite anybody else or pass the record on.
Somebody else should take over the record
Settings → the person's card → Caregivers → Transfer record. Everything goes with it — every day logged, every medication, every provider. They have to accept, and you can take the offer back until they do. You can stay on as a caregiver afterwards.
How do I get the record out?
Health → Care binder produces a PDF: coverage, conditions, medications current and stopped, allergies, care team, open questions, and the day-by-day log. There is a data export beneath it for anything that needs to read it as data.
How do I delete my account?
Settings, at the very bottom. It tells you by name what will be destroyed and who else will lose access before anything happens. If somebody else should keep a record, transfer it first — deleting is permanent.
What happens if I lose signal?
Gerry needs a connection to save or read a record, and will say so rather than failing quietly. Nothing already recorded is lost.
Why does a summary say how many days were logged?
Because a clinician who can see the gaps knows how much weight to put on the rest. Days with nothing recorded are days nobody wrote about, not days when nothing happened, and Gerry will never let a summary imply otherwise.
