Delete your account

You can do this yourself, right here, whether or not you still have the app installed. It takes effect immediately.

So that only you can delete your record. You will come straight back here.

Can't get in? Write to support@getgerry.app from the address on the account and it will be deleted for you.

What gets deleted

Your account and the way you sign in.
Every person whose record you own, and everything in those records — entries, transcripts, recordings, medications, allergies, providers, appointments and questions.
Your name, and the invitations you sent.

It happens at once. Nothing is held in a backup to be restored later.

What does not get deleted

Records owned by somebody else stay with them. If you were helping with a parent whose record belongs to your sibling, that record is theirs and is not yours to delete — you simply stop being a caregiver on it.

Days you logged in a record like that stay in it, with your name taken off, because they are observations about another person in a record somebody else is still using. If a specific entry contains something about you that you want removed, write to support@getgerry.app and say which one.

If somebody else should keep a record

Transfer it before you delete. In the app: Settings → the person's card → Caregivers → Transfer record. Everything goes with it, and nothing is lost.
